This collection of Engraved Book Plates focus on Scientific Equipment and Tools, including "Weight of Materials, Thermometer and Telegraph, each is super finely detailed. Perfect for framing. Each is noted with "Drawn for the Edinburgh Encyclopedia", Engraved by J. Moffat. Each is One sided only.
Each is original antique ephemera and not modern reproductions. Each is in excellent vintage condition, with varying degrees of discoloration and some foxing. Please look closely at the photos to appreciate all the terrific details, as well as to best understand overall condition.

OFFERs: If an offer is made and accepted either from the buyer, or from myself, offers stand for 48 hours. If item is not purchased within a 48 hour time frame of agreed upon negotiated price, offer is considered void.
All items are photographed at the time of packing to insure item purchased is the item which was shipped. As well they are photographed throughout the packing process to insure proper documentation of proper packing procedures should a issue of damage occur.
Please be patient, as it may take a few extra day to get your package out, due to high volume. We will ship promptly, on the soonest, most practical day after the transaction has cleared. If you want it sooner drop me a note and I will see what I can do, I will always try, but I am like you, working....and sometimes do have a short delay, but will be clear in the event.
We ship both USPO as well as Fedex Ground. If there are concerns, please inquire. Fedex comes with an automatic coverage of 100.00. If you wish to have it shipped Signature Required, please specify. Most larger parcels ship via Fedex.
Please double check your ship to address. Be sure the address to ship to is current and correct. In the event the address is incorrect we cannot be responsible for delays, or mis deliveries.

I do NOT take returns, so please look carefully, ASK LOTS OF QUESTIONS. I will work with you to resolve any issues, but ask for more photos, and information if you are not sure about anything. PLEASE NOTE all items are described to the best of my ability, I do try to research everything, and on some items make my best educated guess, PLEASE REQUEST MORE PHOTOS. I can only tell you what I know. In the event there is a damage, which is unlikely if you review our Feedback. But should there be a mishap we must receive notice within 48 hours. It will be YOUR responsibility to either ask for insurance. In the unlikely event you receive your shipment damaged, YOU MUST KEEP ALL, ALL, Packing Materials, or there will be no way to assist in a refund. We will also need clear well lit photos of any and all damages. If we do come to an agreement to refund, shipping will be your responsibility, as well item must be returned within 2 weeks of tracking DELIVERED date. We will do all we can to assist. Thank you.
All work is clearly photographed and is AS IT APPEARS. Please request more photos should you need a better look, I do have a macro on my camera, so I can photo very small details if you so need.
